GoLAN Consulting / About Us Dr. Val Golan incorporated GoLAN Consulting at the beginning of 2003. Positioned from the start as an executive search firm, GoLAN Consulting's first assignment was to locate and recruit the US CEO of a security software company with about 80 employees on behalf of its Israeli investors. Many successful placements have followed, establishing GoLAN Consulting as the HR partner of choice for Israeli companies operating in the US - or US firms with ties to Israel. The Company has a proven know-how in high-tech, bio-tech and in the financial sector. Hiring CxOs remains the expertise of Dr. Golan, who has developed several recruiting optimization models to assure successful and long-lasting placements. Her dissertation for a Ph.D. in HR Management at NCU addresses the efficacy of transnational cultural provenance for the CEOs of US subsidiaries of Israeli companies (mitigated by the life stage of the company). If you are an Israeli start-up opening its first branch in the US, she will advise you on the type of talent you need to acquire and retain to build a successful executive team. Naturally, the top executives we placed came to us to hire their local team, and we responded to the increasing demand by creating a special recruiting task force for support people, headed by Ms. Renee Marom.
