Join the Israel Space 2010 trade mission to Israel

Airlift, the United States Embassy in Israel, the Futron corporation and the Fisher Institute for Strategic Air & Space Studies are jointly organizing an international Space Trade Mission. It is  scheduled on January 24-29, 2010.

 

NASA's administrator and the heads of the Canadian and Italian space agencies have already confirmed their presence. Other officials from prominent space agencies will also attend.

 

Participating companies include Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI), Elbit Systems Electro-optics (Elop), Rafael, Gilat, Boeing, Raytheon, Lockheed Martin and SpaceX.

 

The missions features:

 

-  Access to the Ilan Ramon Space Conference (over 1000 people in attendance)

-  Participation in the international business forum 

-  Pre-arranged calendar of B2B meetings

-  Visits to IAI, Elop, Rafael and the Asher Space Research Institute (Technion)

-  Upscale reception hosted by the U.S. Embassy

-  Touring of Jaffa and Caesarea

-  Optional extension in Jerusalem.

Sunday, January 24

Arrival of the delegation

Monday, January 25

First day of the trade mission (Central part of the country)

Morning: Visit to Israeli Aerospace Industries (IAI) - Lunch on the premises

Afternoon: Visit to Elbit Systems Electro-optics (Elop)

Evening: Upscale reception hosted by the United States Embassy

Tuesday, January 26

Second International Space Business Forum at the Fisher Institute

Morning: Discussion panels - Cocktail lunch

Afternoon: B2B meetings supported by the U.S. Commercial Service

Evening: Free

Wednesday, January 27

Fifth Ilan Ramon International Space Conference at the Fisher Institute

Morning: Plenary session - Business Lunch on the premises

Afternoon: Meetings with foreign representatives attending the conference

Evening: Tour and dinner in Caesarea’s old port

Thursday, January 28

Second day of the trade mission (Northern part of the country)

Morning: Visit to the Technion (Israel Institute of Technology)

and the Asher Space Research Institute - Lunch on the go

Afternoon: Visit and meetings at Rafael

Evening: Dinner in Jerusalem (optional)

Friday, January 29

Morning: Guided tour of Jerusalem’s old city - Farewell lunch

Participation costs

The mission's cost is USD 3950 and includes:

• Four-night stay at the David Intercontinental hotel in Tel Aviv

• Transportation to the different venues

• Access to the business forum and Ilan Ramon Space Conference

• Pre-arranged calendar of B2B meetings

• Visits to IAI, Elop, Rafael and the Asher Space Research Institute

• Upscale reception hosted by the U.S. Embassy

• Touring of Jaffa and Caesarea.

It does not include:

• Air fare

• Transportation from / to the airport

• Hotel extras

• Some of the meals

• Personal insurance

An optional one-day extension to Jerusalem is also scheduled. It is

priced at USD 495 and will include transportation from Tel Aviv to

Jerusalem, a one-night stay in a brand-new luxurious hotel and a

guided tour of the Old City (the Armenian, Jewish, Christian and

Muslim quarters).
